This forum is a joint venture of Database City and PLM Consulting. It is not official tech support for Ffenics products nor is it a replacement for customer service. Posts here may or may not receive an "official" answer and may be answered by any user of the board, so there is no way to guarantee that everything posted here will be 100% accurate. The users of this board are obligated to ensure the correctness of any posts before "betting the farm" on the answer.

This is not a fully moderated forum and postings are not screened before being allowed onto the forum, so we have to rely on the members to maintain a certain level of decorum. Vulgar and foul language will not be permitted and may be deleted or censored.

This board exists to encourage the useful exchange of information pertaining to the Ffenics product line. If that is not why you are here, you may be asked to leave. Verbal attacks, disparagements, and other things collectively referred to as "flames" are not allowed. Free speech is one thing, but there are limits.

The blatant promoting of other products with or without the accompanied bashing of the programs this board was set up for (e.g. "Access rules, Ffenics sucks") will not go unchallenged. For that matter, general product bashing of any kind is discouraged, as it serves no useful purpose. There is a section for Blatant Advertising, but it is intended for people with products and services relevant to the Ffenics product line -- this is not a place for you to sell life insurance.

Of course, now that the board also offers support for legacy DataEase versions, DataEase may also be discussed, but please a) try to keep discussions in the appropriate sub forums, e.g. purely DataEase points should be in the DataEase support area, and b) do not waste people's time with 'product politics'. If you want to rant, do it politely and in the 'philosophical discussions' section.

Thanks
